Say It In Handwriting

My hope is that you are reading this after a fulfilling day of gift giving and feasting with family and friends.

December 26 is annually recognized as "Thank You Note Day." If ya don't know, now ya know.

What better timing than the day after Christmas and right before the new year, to pause and show your appreciation for all that you were given ... And I am not just talking about items that came wrapped up in a box!

If you keep up with this blog, then you know that I am a self-proclaimed advocate of handwriting. It is a lost art that we must keep alive!

So please, grab some paper and a pen and "show what ya teacher gave ya!" (You have to sing that in your head to the tune of "shake what ya Momma gave ya!" Got it!?)

I know you know how to write! Don't forget the skill that a hardworking teacher taught you.

Make someone happy to receive snail mail. Show our great postal workers that their service is valuable. Show the little ones that your hand-eye coordination goes beyond using your thumbs. Write in cursive even! Your second grade teacher will be so proud!

In the season of gift giving, give the priceless gift of the written note!
